who we are

United Float Glass Company (UFG) is a leading manufacturer of Arab glass, established in 2006 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a closed joint stock company by well-established investment institutions. Strategically located in Yanbu on the Red Sea coast, UFG has established a modern manufacturing plant with an area of 350,000.00 square meters and a daily production capacity of 700 tons per day. Today, UFG is proud to offer a wide range of high-quality Aralex glass products and export large quantities to local, regional and international markets.

In 2009, UFG successfully started producing high quality “ARALUX® Clear Float” Glass, ensuring that quality matches the international standards. In 2010, UFG started producing “ARALUX® Light Green (French)” Glass to become the first in the region to produce Tinted Glass In 2011, UFG entered the automotive market segment with “ARALUX® Automotive Light Green Tinted” Glass with the objective of further product diversification and global market expansion. In 2012, UFG commissioned its new state of the art production line, producing “ARALUX® Copper/Lead Free Silver “Mirror as per the European Standard EN 1036-1 requirements.

Arabian United Float Glass Company

In 2014, UFG successfully commissioned its new pattern line, producing “ARALUX® Engraved Float Glass” with different designs, thicknesses and dimensions. In pursuit of excellence, UFG established a Copper/Lead Free Silver Mirror processing plant shortly thereafter. By 2014, the company proudly commissioned its new pattern line, showcasing a dedication to continuous innovation In 2021, UFG achieved a successful milestone by initiating the production of ARAULX Decorative Mirror, featuring diverse designs such as Delta, Dewani, Millennium, and Nashiji. In 2022, UFG celebrated the successful completion of a production capacity increase project, reaching an annual output of 250,000 metric tons of high-quality float, pattern, and silver mirror glass. In 2023, and due to the solid commitment and the continuous high-end servicing, UFG proudly received the (SASO) certificate from the Saudi Standards, metrology, and quality organization.
